Proserpine
This was inspired after seeing Rossetti’s painting, Proserpine, the Roman Goddess, who lived with Ceres, her mother from Spring to Autumn but returned to the underworld during the Winter. Autumn turning to Winter is represented by the two windows behind this painting of Proserpine.
